Scott was a great guy, he always looked at things on the positive side, he never had a bad word to say about anyone, he was always encouraging others and showing a genuine interest in the lives of others, he spread kindness with ease and had a calming effect on everyone he met, but most of all Scott was grateful, he was grateful for his family, his friends, his sobriety and the chance to help others to be as grateful for their lives as he was for his.    Without Scott there’s a lot less goodness in this world

Going to miss Scott! We always enjoyed visiting at the HS reunions in Washington PA. Have known Scott since HS, when he was a great guy who came to our school after transferring across town in his senior year. (That took a lot of courage!) We had lots of conversations, and always enjoyed hearing from him about what was going on in his life. God bless you Scott! Our prayers with you and your family!

I met Scott back in the 60’s through my cousins who wrestled at the Brownson House and later for Trinity High School. He was such a cool guy and always made time to talk to me and share his wrestling stories with me. He was the Class President at Wash High and he also was the starting 120lb wrestler for us. I did get to see him about 3 or 4 years ago at the Wash High Reunion in the Park. Scotty will be missed but he will never be forgotten.

Scott was so kind and  so much fun to talk to and he was a precious friend  that will be missed. He loved his children and was very proud to be their dad.

To Scott’s family, my heart-filled condolences I send to you. I had not met Scott in person but he grew up in Colonial Woods, with my 10-year older brother Alan Foringer, who passed away suddenly at age 37. I reached out to Scott a few years ago, to request he share his memories of Alan with me. And, along with Jinx, they both gave me phenomenal perspective on my brother, when he was young. I enjoyed my FB friendship with Scott and planned to stop and see him in Gastonia, some day, when I got out that way! I am sad for his family and that I missed the opportunity to shake Scott’s hand. Blessings to his family members and I pray the true Peace beyond our understanding rests in and on your hearts!

Scott was a good friend who always had a smile on his face and could always get one from you even if you were having a bad day.  I know he is still sharing that smile now in Heaven with his loved ones who have gone before him and also with His Heavenly Father.  Condolences and prayers to his family 🙏

Scott was such a good friend and neighbor, always filled with light and love. He will be missed so much by all who had the pleasure of his friendship.
