Sharron Kay Martin

She was born Sept. 3, 1952 to the late Walter, Dorothy Henderson Cagle.

Mrs. Martin was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church Bessemer City, she loved cooking and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Jack Martin of the Home; son, Jody Weaver and wife Holly of Belmont; brothers, Garry Cagle and wife Sandi of Blacksburg, S.C., Mark Cagle Sr. and wife Phyllis of Bessemer City; sisters, Susan Cagle and friend April of Concord, Raelynn Criswill and husband Mike of Bessemer City; two grandchildren, Colby Weaver, Kelsi Weaver; two stepgrandchildren, Kyle Dodd, Trevor Dodd, several nieces and nephews, two aunts and uncle of Greenville, S.C.

In additions to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband James H. Smith.

A celebration of life service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 Walnut Ave., Gastonia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service with the Rev. Mike Criswill officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family of Mrs. Martin wants to express a special thank you to all the staff members of the Robin Johnson House.
