Thelma Lorene Seay King

A native of New Port, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Hensley Seay.

Mrs. King was a member of Modena Street Baptist Church and retired from Homelite after 32 years of service.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Eugene King of Gastonia; grandchildren, Shane and MaryLou King, Kim and Marion Davis, Tracy and Brian Duvall, Bryan King, Mary and Johnny Richards, Chris Robbins; great grandchildren, Brandy Carver, Adam and Sierra Davis, Dylan Davis, Hunter, Austin and Chasty King, Reagon Richardson, Chloe and Chandler Duvall, Graysea and Reagan Richards, Jason Bell; great great grandchildren, Lucy and Rayvin Carver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee King; daughter, Carol King; sons, Thomas Lee King, Bobby Jerrel King; and great great granddaughter, Alyssa Carver.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Colonial Chapel of

Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia with Rev. Bill Mauney officiating.

Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
