Thomas was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Marie Shelton of Gastonia and their son, Isaiah. He also leaves behind his mother, Cathy Jo and stepfather, Gregory Williams; his father, David Mitchell Farmer; his sister, Kristin Nicole Simmons and her two sons; and his brothers, Michael Wayne Simmons Jr., Brandon Farmer and His loving grandmother Elaine Webb.
Thomas had a deep love for the outdoors and was always up for an adventure, whether it was playing sports, or simply spending time outside.
He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his passion for life, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park located at 2205 Williamsburg Dr. Gastonia, NC 28054 on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm. A committal service will immediately follow at Westview Gardens.
