In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by seven sisters and eight brothers. He is survived by his son, Thomas Gerald Satterfield; his daughters, Melissa Satterfield and Gennifer Satterfield Cornwell; two grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting, and gardening. He also had a love for cooking, Nascar, and the Atlanta Braves. Above all, he was known for his infectious sense of humor, always ready with a joke or a laugh to share.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
