‘The Dallas Cowboys are America’s Team’

Walter ‘Adam’ Burger III, age 40, passed away on Tuesday ~ May 12, 2020 at his residence after a lifelong battle of health issues and is now in the arms of his Lord and Savior. We dated in high school before you moved to NC then we stopped talking. Then after years we reconnected and had some road trips from NC to Bluefield. Had alot of late night talks over the years. You always told me you loved me. We did have a love of long time friends since Bluefield High School. You will forever be in my thoughts. Love always. Prayers for your family and friends.

I can't believe the day has come that I must say good bye. I have fought so many battles for you as we grew up. This is the one that matter the most and I wasn't able to do anything. My heart is so burden right now know that I took for granted so much time. I just knew we was going to grow old together. I am going to miss you dearly. Coming to the room every morning wanting to go to the store. I can go on for days talking about the little things I'm going to miss. But most of all I am going to miss your love and seeing your face. I love you so much. Rest in heaven my brother tell dad, Nicole, and Curtis that I love and miss you all. Watch over me and mom we are going to need it. Don't worry about the girls Me and mom got them. Love you little bro.

Adam used to ride along with me when i needed to visit my son in Raleigh NC. From 2001-2007. He was my relief driver and never let me travel alone . Adam and Chris Hopper(my nephew) always was there for me as i traveled to see my son. We always was assured with Daddy Burger making sure the car was ready to hit the highway. I will miss Adam a well intelligent young man raised by a God-fearing mother and father and a loving sister Shauna.
