I had the pleasure of working with Roly for many years prior to his retirement from BNR. He was an important resource for the Northern Telecom Law Department and enjoyed both the respect and friendship of his many colleagues around the world. He was always willing to do whatever was required to meet the heavy demands of his work.  Unfortunately, we have not had the oportunity to talk since his retirement, so I do hope that his recent years were pleasant and rewarding.  I extend my deepest sympathies to his wife and loved ones.

I am saddened to hear of Rolly's passing. We worked closely while I was in BNR Ottawa & Raleigh NC.He was one of the best people I ever worked with.He taught me and guided me through tons of contracts and was most patient and friendly.He will be missed by all.Above all  " A Great Guy"

Annette & Family   I was sorry to read about Roly today.  I worked at BNR/Nortel also.  May your memories of Roly bring you comfort.

I was privileged to work for Roly for many years while he was BNR's Corporate Secretary and Legal Counsel and I treasured the friendship we continued after we both retired.  I always admired his intelligence and quiet patience in his dealings with people in all walks of life.  Roly was a true gentleman who I'm going to miss greatly.  Ron and I wish Annette and his family, who meant the world to him, our deepest sympathy and love  at this sad time.
