Dear Walter's family,
I just learned of Walter's passing. This is very sad news.
Walter played such an important part in our lives. He was always willing to help, to go above and beyond. He spent a lot of time working on our property with Robert Dubeau, helping us move twice into our new home and helping with our road, landscaping, snow removal and many many other things we were unable to do ourselves. Lots of memories! He was always there when we needed him, and recommended someone else when he couldn't. Always cheerful and fun to be with. He loved working outdoors...and loved to talk about this. We were very fond of Walter and miss him. He also helped Cantley 1889, especially installing our historic tugboat and mine car in Parc Mary-Anne-Phillips. I have a few photos I would love to share with you. Please let me know your email so I can send them to you.
Walter was so kind and generous and had such a big heart. He will always be fondly remembered by us, and by many others, I am sure. My deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathy to Walter's family.
Walter was a great friend and I'll never forget the great times we had growing up; Cantley Picnics, the Gatineau Clog, and those good ol bush parties.
You left this world way too early my friend. Rest in Peace.

Our words cannot express the shock and sadness we feel about Walter's passing. He was a great young man who would do anything to help someone out. Will always remember his story telling especially all his hunting stories. He always greeted you with that big smile with those cute dimples in his cheeks. He will be sadly missed but always remembered. RIP dear Walter.

Walter, had a big heart, loved to have fun and be different. I can remember so many times in our younger days of adventures we had that turned out to be outrageous and as a result very memorable! We did a lot of snowmobiling, fishing, camping and going to parties. He was lots of fun to be with and easy to get along with like a family member....will be missed.

Pour Lucette, Thérèse, et toute la famille
It was with a deep sadness that I learned of Walter's sudden departure. I can only imagine what you must be going true. In times like these, words are so hard to find and nothing we can say will ease your pain, but I hope you can find a bit of comfort in knowing that there is now a new star that shines in the sky and it watches over all of you.
I have good memories of him and some of the things I remember is how he loved to be surrounded by people and liked to have fun. He was very generous and was always there to help a friend in need.
I know Walter will be missed by many, but no one will ever forget about him, because he was unforgettable.
Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss and may time gently ease your great sorrows.
Sincerely, Marie xxo…
Marie xxo...

No words can truly express this but I offer you all my deepest and most sincere condolences. We all pray that he is now at peace, may his soul rest eternally. I find comfort in knowing grampa Bob greeted him with arms wide open and a smile, he adored him. I will never forget the many years up at the lake where Walter was the life of the party, always smiling and had a great sense of humour and such positive energy. Never a dull moment, he made going to the lake so much more fun! We will miss you dearly Walter, gone way too young and too soon❤️
