Allyson (Ally) Rebecca Schultze passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents, and surrounded by family, on December 31, 2018 at 4:48pm at Dell Children’s Hospital PICU in Austin, TX. Ally was born on July 1, 2015 and she spent her entire 3 ½ years on this earth touching the lives of others.
Ally was an amazing, inspirational little girl with baby soft skin and beautiful blue eyes. Her sweet facial expressions and the precious little sounds that her voice could produce would combine to form her own very special way to communicate. Ally’s radiant glow would captivate anyone lucky enough to meet her.
Ally was a fighter and she played by her own rules. Despite her complex medical condition(s), she battled courageously and beat so many odds. She lived an amazing life filled with love, faith, hope, and compassion.
Ally loved to snuggle, and she loved her family, her friends, and her doggies. Music and stories were especially fun and every minute she could spend with her siblings was magical.
Ally is survived by her parents, Jeff and Jaime Schultze; her brother, William; her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Becki Lipari (Papa and Nana); her paternal grandparents, Bill Schultze and Jan Robin (Baba and JanMa); her Grandma, Linda Holtberg and husband Gary; her uncle and Godfather, Brent Schultze; her uncle, Jason Lipari and aunt Krista Lipari; her cousin Jack Lipari, her Godmother, Stacy Duplantis; as well as countless extended family members and all of those who loved and cared for her. Ally is preceded in death by her twin sister, Madelyn “Maddy” Drew Schultze.
Ally’s short little life has left an immeasurable impression on this world. She is loved so deeply by so many and we are all better people, and blessed, for having known her.
