Angela Eve Escobar

Angela was one of those rare people whose light could brighten any room. She had an infectious laugh, a beautiful smile, and a heart that naturally made people feel welcome. She never took herself too seriously and had a playful spirit that brought laughter wherever she went. Whether she was singing, joking around, or simply enjoying time with the people she loved, Angela had a way of making ordinary moments feel unforgettable.

No matter where life led her, she chose kindness. She had an extraordinary gift for seeing the good in others, extending grace freely, and moving forward with hope. Through every challenge she faced, Angela met life with quiet courage, unwavering determination, and a smile that reminded everyone around her that better days were always possible. She kept showing up, no matter what life placed before her, and she never let hardship steal the joy she found in living and loving others.

Her greatest accomplishment and the deepest joy of her life were her four children: Alycia Harkey, Ricky Davila, Isaac Davila, and Angelina Davila. They were her heart, her purpose, and the center of her world. Everything she did was rooted in the love she had for her family.

Angela was wonderfully creative. She loved designing, creating, and turning simple ideas into something beautiful. Whether she was making something with her hands or imagining her next project, creativity was simply part of who she was. Most of all, she loved to sing and perform, bringing joy to those around her with her enthusiasm and vibrant personality.

She found happiness in life's simple blessings—being outdoors, spending time with the people she loved most, and making memories with her family. In recent years, she especially treasured the time she spent working alongside her dad and baby brother at their family-owned welding business, creating moments that her family will forever hold close to their hearts.

Angela shared an unbreakable bond with her parents, Pauline and Rudy Escobar, whose love for their daughter never wavered. Rudy was one of Angela's greatest champions, believing in her wholeheartedly and standing by her through every season of life. Angela and her mom, Pauline, shared a special bond. She was perfectly content simply being with her mom—whether they were talking, planning, running errands together, or simply enjoying each other's company.

Angela had a special love for animals, especially her beloved sugar gliders, whose playful curiosity seemed to mirror her own joyful spirit. Purple was her favorite color, a beautiful reflection of the warmth and creativity that defined her life. One of the songs closest to her heart was "Pure" by Sienna Spiero, a song that those who loved her will forever associate with her beautiful soul.

To know Angela was to know someone who loved without conditions. She was quick to forgive, slow to hold onto hurt, and always willing to lend a helping hand. She carried herself with remarkable resilience, never allowing hardship to harden her heart. Instead, every challenge seemed to deepen her compassion, strengthen her spirit, and increase the love she so freely gave to others. She had a way of lifting people up, often putting someone else's needs before her own, and she never stopped believing in the goodness of people.

Angela is lovingly survived by her children, Alycia Harkey, Ricky Davila, Isaac Davila, and Angelina Davila; her parents, Pauline and Rudy Escobar; her brothers, Cody Escobar and his wife, Olga, and Gordon Michael Penny; her sister, Nina Sligar and her husband, Doug; her cherished nieces and nephews, Valeria, Santiago, Valentina, Daniela, Izzy, Jayden, Rudy Gordon, Ashlyn, and Wyatt; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing and loving her.

Although our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the gift of Angela's life. Her laughter will echo in our memories, her kindness will live on through the lives she touched, and the love she poured into her family will remain an everlasting part of who we are. While we will miss her beyond words, we take comfort in knowing that love like hers never truly leaves us.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Angela's life at a viewing on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, followed by interment at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, next to her sweet Aunt Frances. A reception will follow the burial, where all who loved Angela are invited to gather, share stories, laugh, cry, and celebrate a life that was filled with love.

The greatest way to honor Angela's memory is to laugh a little louder, forgive a little quicker, hug your family a little tighter, and never miss an opportunity to tell someone you love them. That was Angela's gift to the world, and that is how she will always be remembered.
