

Annie L. (Ann) Johnson, 90, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on August 2, 2016 at the Legacy at Georgetown Assisted Living Community. She was born to Max and Annie (Unnasch) Westerman on April 11, 1926 in Thorndale, Texas, where she grew up and attended school.
In 1945, Ann moved to Houston where she worked for the Texas Company. She met and married Johnny Anderson Sr. in 1947 and they had one son, Johnny Anderson, Jr. Ann had a long career as a banker with J.P. Morgan Chase until her retirement in 1987. Also in 1987, she married Bobby Johnson. Ann and Bob lived in Sugar Land, Kerrville and finally moved to Georgetown in 2000. They loved to travel and visited all 50 states. In addition, they cruised abroad including their favorite trip to Russia.
Ann was also passionate about dancing. Her favorite song was San Antonio Rose by Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys. Whenever and wherever she heard that song, she would grab the closest person and dance to it. Ann’s other hobbies included working with her flowers and playing “42”.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Anderson, Jr and his wife Janeice; one granddaughter, Rachel Slais and husband Doug of Greeley, Colorado; three great-grandchildren, Shelby Holmes, Samantha Slais and Kolby Slais; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Anderson, Sr., and husband, Bobby Johnson; her four brothers, Max Westerman, Ted Westerman, David Westerman and William (Buddy) Westerman; and her three sisters, Mabel Westerman Barron, Gertrude Westerman Porter, and Evelyn Westerman Freeman.
The family wishes to thank the management and staff of the Legacy at Georgetown for the kindness and attentive care that they provided during Ann’s final years.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, August 19, 2016 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
