

Aubrey graduated from Florence High School, and shortly after graduation he volunteered for the Florence and Andice fire departments. He began his working career by following his father’s footsteps in the family masonry business. He was an accomplished artistic craftsman particularly in the stone mason industry. In his later years he became a maintenance man for Florence ISD, and was employed by HEB in Burnet.
Aubrey was a Pro Senior bull rider in the PSBR and qualified in 2002 for a chance at a world champion title at the Fort Worth stockyards. He enjoyed volunteering at many benefits and was an excellent BBQ cook for all of the family and friends gatherings. He claimed the title for the cow chip throw at the Florence Friendship Days for 22 years. He could talk it as well as he could throw it. His family and friends enjoyed his sense of humor and his love of telling a good story. He was born a cowboy and left a cowboy.
Aubrey is survived by his wife Delores; children, LaTosha and husband Brandon Baker, Toby Fulton, Amanda Fulton; stepdaughter, Micha and husband Doug Davis; stepson, Keith and wife Jennifer Dortch of Arkansas; 15 grand kids, Joshua, Cheyenne, Sierra, Braydon, Madelyn, Noah, Luke, Amandajo, Dusty, Benjamin, Jolynn, Joe, James, Michael, and Gabriel; parents, Albert and Hattie Fulton of Florence; siblings, James Fulton and wife Tammy of Kansas, Ella Pemberton and husband Clint of Buchanan Dam, Billy Fulton of Florence, Tammy Smith and spouse Glen Penner of Florence; sister in law, D’lane Fulton; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Joel Fulton.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26th at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 27th at the First Baptist Church in Florence with Brother Roy Smith officiating. Graveside service will follow at the Andice Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Roberts, Wes Lockhart, Henry Brizendine, Paul Williams, Howard Lindsey, Mike Billington, Mike Greene, Woody Ray. Honorary pallbearers are Bud Lane, Jesse Fisher, Joe Wimberly, Randy Snow, Kevin Howe and Bill Hall.
