Audrey L. Taylor

Audrey Laverne Taylor, 84, of Georgetown, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, TX. A celebration of her life and faith will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10am at the The Gabriels Funeral Chapel with Reverend David Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen. Mrs. Taylor was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William Francis and Beulah F. Park. She graduated from high school in Perrysville, PA before earning her degree from Nyack Christian College in Nyack, NY. It was after graduating from college that she met John H. Taylor, to whom she was married in 1957. She and John raised a family and shared the joys of life together for more than 57 years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, swimming, reading and dancing. She will be fondly remembered for her calm and gentle spirit and her unending faith in Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Chuck Park. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband John; daughter, Judy; daughter, Joy and husband Billy; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Park; and other loving family and friends.
