Barbara Battin Jones, age 74, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 in her home in Georgetown, TX. She was born on August 7, 1945 to Robert and Patricia (Shockey) Battin in Dover, Ohio. She met and married Rodger W. Jones in Houston, Texas and together they had three children. They settled in Austin in 1986. Barbara was a lifelong lover of dogs and Elvis Presley. She loved spending time with her seven grandchildren and relished in their accomplishments. She is survived by her husband, Rodger, her children Kelley Markert, Jamie (Lee) Bazemore, and Randy Jones; her seven grandchildren, Ashley, Riley, Jaremy, Nathan, Kody, Matthew and Evan; and one great grandchild, Kacen. In accordance with her wishes there will be no formal services. A Celebration of Life will be held by her family at a later date.
