

Barbara Williams Loudamy entered into rest March 10, 2017 in Georgetown, Texas at the age of 68. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was never without her ever-present smile, dignity and grace, positive attitude, and sense of humor.
She was born July 2, 1948 in San Marcos, Texas to the late Truxton and Jackie Williams. She is survived by husband Larry, his daughter LeAnn Robledo and husband Danny, grandchildren Logan, Landry, Layla and Layton of Kyle, Texas, son John and wife Laura, grandchildren Lane and Kate of Austin. Barbara is also survived by her brother Ben Williams of San Marcos, his daughter Janel Ray and husband Josh and their children Taylor, Ethan and Emily of Weelock, Texas.
Barbara was a life-long learner and retired educator, employed 36 years as a counselor and teacher in the Georgetown school system. She loved being with young people and was an inspiration to many. Her concern was always for the well-being and happiness of others. She was a friend to everyone whose path she crossed, a natural-born care-giver who will be sorely missed and forever loved.
A reception and celebration of her life will be held at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive in Georgetown, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 23. Interment will be held at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 30.
