Benjamin Thurman Ross, Sr., age 67, of Georgetown, Texas, passed on Thursday, May 6, 2010. He was born in Georgetown on November 19, 1942 the son of Vernon S. Ross and Jimmie V. Ross. Benjamin liked to fish and taking care of his dog, Blondie.
He is survived by his brother, Mason A. Ross and wife Wanda Sue; wife Dorris Holden Ross; sons, Benjamin T. Ross Jr., Hassel V. Ross and David B. Ross and wife Felisha; step-daughter, Richetta Jones and husband David; grandchildren, Adam, Tristan, Trineskia, Trichelle, Darcell, Chanel, Xavier and Xandria; niece, Natalie Frazer; nephew, Ferron L. Ross; special cousins, Brother John McClain and Peggy Stephens; and host of grand nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
A memorial service to celebrate Benjamin’s life was held on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with Reverend Jimmy Johnson, Reverend Daniel Blane and Reverend Arcynthia Louie all officiating.
