Betty "Jane" Bonner, born November 17, 1925, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the age of 99. She was born in Long Beach, California to Wallace and Elizabeth Doty. Jane graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School.
Jane is survived by her children, Michael and wife Linda from Redding, CA, Patrick from Redding, CA, and Robin Teakell and husband Randy from Georgetown, TX; grandchildren, Jerrod Bonner of Huntington Beach, CA, Jason Bonner of Redding, CA, Crystal Brockman of Baker City, OR, Chelsea Fariss of Georgetown, TX, Zachary Teakell of Austin, TX; 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-granddaughters.
Jane has reunited with her husband and best friend of over 64 years, Durl Bonner, granddaughter, Kimberly Romero, and daughter-in-law, Lynnoa Bonner, who all passed before her.
The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care given by Platinum Resort Assisted Living and Altus Hospice.
The family will gather during a visitation for Jane on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Dr. Georgetown, TX 78628, from 5PM-8PM. Jane will be laid to rest with her husband at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
