Betty "Sue" Dennison

Betty Sue Dennison, 72 of Georgetown, Texas went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2013. She was born June 5, 1940, in Paradise, Texas to Ruby and Aubrey Shepard who preceded her in death. On November 31, 1971, she married Bill Dennison, who survives her. She graduated from Nursing School in 1978 and received her license to practice as a licensed vocational nurse. Mrs. Dennison touched a lot of lives though out her twenty years as a vocational nurse. She worked for many years at the Austin State Hospital Center for the Deaf. Mrs. Dennison was a member of Strickland Grove Church of Christ.

She is survived by her siblings, Emma Lance, Faye Douglas, and Buddy Shepard; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Joseph Villa; son and daughter-in-law, James and Andrea Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Mike Wimberley; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Kim Dennison; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Beverly Dennison; grandchildren, Thomas Brown, Dennis Bostrom, Jennifer Hayden, and Emily Baker and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren all whom she loved dearly. Mrs. Dennison was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy.

She was a great mother, grandmother and mother-in-law who loved watching NASCAR races.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, on Thursday, the 16th of May 2013, at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Friday, the 17th of May 2013 at ten o’clock in the morning at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
