Betty loved her family and being around people. She enjoyed taking her granddaughter swimming and going to the park to feed the ducks. Betty will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son Dwayne Meche in 2001, brother Robert Spears and sister Emma Mullins.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Bender; daughter, Brenda Meche; son-in-law, Dennis Baker; granddaughter, Hannah Meche; nephews, Paul and James Mullins; niece, Carol Mesa; and numerous friends.
A visitation was held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday the 1st of November 2013 at Cook Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be held at her residence, 2001 CR 130 in Hutto, Texas from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday the 2nd of November 2013.
