Billy Howard LaFrance, III, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away September 19, 2025, at the age of 24. Born on July 28, 2001, in Georgetown, Texas, Billy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a passion for helping others.
Billy was the cherished son of Crista LaFrance and Joshua LaFrance. He enjoyed doting on his brothers, Kaleb, Jordan, James, and Zackary, who shared countless memories and forged an unbreakable bond.
A proud graduate of Jarrell High School, class of 2020, Billy was known for his determination and hard work. He carried that same spirit into his career as a garage door installer, where he found joy in his craft and the satisfaction of a job well done. His dedication to his work mirrored his approach to life—always striving to bring a smile to others and uplift those around him.
Billy was a member of Upwards Church of Jarrell. He had a natural inclination to help others, reflecting a deep-seated compassion that resonated with all who knew him. Whether it was lending a hand to a neighbor or sharing a laugh with friends, Billy's generosity of spirit was unmatched.
Outside of his commitments, Billy found joy in riding his motorcycle. He was dedicated to motorcycle safety and showing others how to properly ride and care for their machines. He also had a deep appreciation for firearms, which he often discussed with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility. These interests were merely a part of the adventurous spirit that defined him—a spirit that will be sorely missed.
Billy’s days were made brighter because of Alfie, his beloved dog and closest companion. More than a pet, Alfie was his shadow, his confidant, and his greatest source of comfort. Whether they were taking long walks, sharing quiet moments at home, or simply enjoying each other's company, the bond between them was unmistakable—built on loyalty, love, and unspoken understanding. Those who knew Billy knew Alfie too, as they were rarely apart. In remembering Billy, we also honor the special friendship he shared with the dog who never left his side.
Billy is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Howard Lafrance, Jr.
He is survived by his loving mother, Crista LaFrance, father, Joshua LaFrance, and his brothers, Kaleb, Jordan, James, and Zackary; Paternal grandmother, Debby LaFrance and Maternal grandparents, Melinda Clark and James Clark. In addition to his immediate family, Billy leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who will carry his memory forward.
As we remember Billy, let us hold tight to the memories we shared, the laughter that filled our hearts, and the love that will never fade. His spirit will continue to inspire us to be kinder, to embrace adventure, and to help one another in times of need. He will forever be missed and cherished by all who knew him.
