Bonnie was born on October 2, 1938 in Georgetown, Texas to Virgil (Buddy) Guthrie and Mattie Mae Guthrie. She is preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Mattie Guthrie; her husband, Charles Thomas Russell III; and sisters, Audrey Jo Whittenburg and Elna Ray Cecil.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children: son, Charles Ray Russell of Georgetown, Texas and daughters, Ramona M. Russell and Donna R. Russell of Austin, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Cleta and Bunk Whitt of Salado, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many extended members of the Guthrie and Russell families and many long-time friends.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation to be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive in Georgetown, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, 701 Smith Creek Road in Georgetown.
