

Pete Brody Morgan Montes, 19, of Liberty Hill, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2025, in Liberty Hill. He was born on October 18, 2005 in Georgetown, Texas. Brody lived a life full of energy, laughter, and unwavering love for those around him.
A proud graduate of Liberty Hill High School, Brody was a dedicated member of his high school's varsity football team. His commitment to his teammates and his school reflected the same passion and drive he incorporated into every aspect of his life.
Brody had a wide range of interests that made him truly unique. He found joy in anime, disc golf, video games, watching movies and collecting manga and figurines. Above all else, riding motorcycles was his greatest passion—a pursuit that gave him freedom and exhilaration like nothing else.
Those who knew Brody will remember him as a natural joker with an infectious smile and a laugh that could light up any room. He had a heart as big as Texas—always ready to walk through fire for the people he loved. Whether it was talking endlessly about games, anime, or food—or simply sitting quietly beside someone who needed support—Brody was present with sincerity and compassion. His unmatched work ethic and deep loyalty made him someone you could always count on. He lived his life not afraid, to be proud of who he was, where he came from and the life he built. He never had one regret or doubt that he was where he was supposed to be.
Brody’s love for his family and friends was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished each moment he had and developed a unique relationship with everyone that knew him. Although each relationship was unique in their own way, each individual still got to experience the full version of who he was as a person. His bond with them was profound and unwavering. He was a devoted husband to Emily and a loving father to their son, Everette. He was also a remarkable son, brother, nephew, uncle, and grandson.
He leaves behind his wife, Emily Montes; Son, Everette Montes; parents, Pete and Shay Montes; grandfather, Pablo Montes Jr.; his siblings, Patrick, Matthew, and Mia; his sister-in-law, Claire; brother-in-law, David; niece, Isla; nephew, Levi and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Brody was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Gwyn Marie Montes; grandfather, Benjamin H. Morgan Jr.; cousin, Christina Nicole Montes; great-grandparents, Glory Anna Lentz and Pablo L. Montes; great-grandparents, Mona Lee Bonnet and Ellis Adolf Bonnet Sr.
Brody's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his laughter echo in our memories and his spirit continue to inspire kindness and strength in us all.
A visitation will be held on September 14, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628. A rosary will be held following the visitation at 4:00 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held on September 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628. A committal will be held on September 15, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM at Cementerio de las Tres Marias, 103 Rolling Hills Rd, Liberty Hill, Texas 78642.
Brody was a colorful person, the family kindly asks for those attending to dress in his favorite color, green or to wear your favorite color.
