

Clarence Arnold Prather of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Monday January 29, 2018 at the age of 83. He and Betty were longtime residents of Canyon Lake, Texas before moving to Georgetown to be closer to family in 2016. C.A. (as he preferred to be called) was born to parents Howard and Juanita Dunn Prather June 13, 1934 in Robstown, Texas. He was the fourth of five children, Edward, Doris, Robert (Bobby), and the youngest, Martha Sue Prather.
He served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, he went on to work for the FAA and remained there until he retired in 1993.
C.A. loved life and family dearly. He enjoyed sailing, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.
C.A is survived by his beloved wife of thirty years, Betty Prather; his daughters, Christy Bourland and her spouse Robert, Sherry Eades and her spouse Tony, Julie Fox and her spouse Rick, and Melinda White and her spouse Donny; and his step son, Terry Williams and his spouse Becky. He has eleven grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Prather, and his grandson, Jordan Eades.
Visitation will be held at 1pm to 2pm followed by a memorial service at 2pm on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. All family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of his life.
