Carmen C. Holbrook

She was preceded in death by her spouse J.B. Holbrook and brother Thelbert J. Says, Jr.

Carmen worked as a caregiver/Certified Nurse’s Aide until the age of 81. She was widowed for 60 years, but was a hard working single mother. She loved books, art, music and travelling. She was the happiest when giving to others. Carmen loved her only son and all her family with all her heart. First and foremost, Carmen was a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her son, Jay Holbrook and wife Sandra; grandson Jason Ledford and wife Elizabeth; grandson J.R. Ledford and wife Sheila; 2 great grandsons, James and Landon Ledford; sister Bobbie Scott; brother Henry “Hawk” Says and wife Gayle; sister Corky and husband Jesse McNown, 8 nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
