Carol Jean Worley

She was born and raised in Houston, Texas on October 6, 1940, to parents Glen Marion Whaley and Jessie Vera (Maddox) Thomas.

Carol was predeceased by her husband, Gerald (Jerry) Worley whom she was married to for 64 years; her parents and her brother, Randall Glen Whaley.

Carol leaves behind her son, Kenneth Wade Worley and his wife, Teresa; three grandchildren, Todd Anthony Worley and his wife, Ann; Jennifer Lynn Worley Moran and her husband, Brian; Erin Amelia Worley Roberts; five great grandchildren, Isaac Liam Worley, Gillian Elizabeth Worley, Maddox Lynn Moran, Jackson Wade Moran and Iris Amelia Roberts; and one brother, Alan Darrell Whaley.

After traveling abroad extensively, she and her husband retired to Georgetown in December, 2002, making their home in Sun City. Carol was a member at The Worship Place in Sun City. Carol was interested in ministering to new Christians and was (at one time) active in many other church activities. She spent enjoyable hours painting pictures and various other hobbies.
