Carolina Parada Flores, cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on November 2, 2025, in Round Rock, Texas. She was born on May 26, 1943, in Sanderson, Texas, and later settled in Fort Stockton, where she and her husband, Gustavo Flores Jr., lovingly raised their family.
Affectionately known as “Cary”, Carolina retired from Fort Stockton ISD and devoted her later years to serving St. Agnes Catholic Church as both secretary and Guadalupana. Her faith guided her life and was evident in her care for her family and community. Carolina’s greatest joy was being with her family, especially her grandchildren, who always felt her love and pride in them.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Flores Kisner (Timothy), and her son, Carlos Flores. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Zachary and Joshua Kisner, and Viviana and Marlo Flores. She also leaves behind her sisters, Bertha Fletcher (Doug) and Yolanda Trullinger, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Carolina was preceded in death by her husband, Gustavo Zepeda Flores Jr.; her parents, Guadalupe Parada and Manuel Parada Sr.; her brother, Manuel Parada Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Anne and Gustavo Flores Sr.
