Christopher was born on January 17, 1981. He was adopted by Bill and Lillian Black to become one of the nine Black brothers - Robbie, Jeffrey, Jonathan, David, Matthew, Michael, Tarlton and Kevin - and three sisters. Kevin and Tarlton soon went to their adult lives and then they were the gang of seven that over the years did everything together from Big Wheels to big bikes. Chris loved youth soccer and youth baseball, and every kind of ball that was made.
Chris was a baptized at Main Street Baptist Church and loved going to church. He would carry his Bible with him to dayhabs and he memorized whole chapters of the Bible. For a while Chris attended Christ Lutheran Church in Georgetown and memorized the Believer's Creed which he would recite to anyone who would listen.
Christopher had a severe seizure disorder causing the need for more care. When he was a teen he moved to Empowerment Options Group Home for young adults with medical and other disabilities. He had actual jobs while in their care and he loved the concept of making his own money. His free time was spent on puzzles, 2000 pieces or more, the larger the better.
He is now free from the many limits put on him due to his medical and physical disabilities.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Lillian and William Black; sisters, Kimberly Black McKneely, Nicole Black Morse, Kelli Black; and brothers Kevin Black, Franklin Tarlton Black, Michael Black, Matthew Black, David Black, Jonathan Black, and Jeffrey Black. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robbie Black.
