Clyde Lawrence Black, age 94 passed away October 8, 2010, in Georgetown, Texas. Clyde was born to Clyde and Marion (Thompson) Black on April 9, 1916 in Bell County, Texas. At an early age, he moved to Jarrell, Texas where he resided until 1961. On August 17, 1935 Clyde married Bessie Mae Roe, with whom he had one son.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, siblings and wife, and is survived by his son, Richard Black, of Richmond, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, in Georgetown, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Corn Hill Cemetery, in Jarrell, Texas.
