Aunt Sunny left many fond memories for me to tuck in my heart... she had a zest for life and I never heard her complain,even at the end. She was strong,loved her family,and always had hope.Like Scott I most cherish when we put out our Christmas tree star and  my favorite a santa figurine she once gave us. I look forward to passing for this world to the next knowing that she will be there to greet me.

Always  cheerful and friendly to all.
Her strong will to overcome obstacles and fight to the end without complaint.

Every time I place a silver star at the top of our Christmas tree, I'll remember it was a special gift from Aunt Sunny one Christmas, and a lifetime of memories of her from Christmases and summer vacations will follow.  I especially hang on to a distant memory of Aunt Sunny's lakehouse, where you had to walk the 'gauntlet' of grass burrs to get to the clear, cool waters of Lake Travis.

I, too, lost touch with Sunny through the years.  We worked together at Shell where she was a mentor and friend to me.  Jennifer, I hope you remember the time you spent with my family while your mom took some needed time off.  Sunny has been on my mind for the past several months and I tried to locate her - not knowing she was going through a struggle.  How I wish I could have shared with her how much I cherished having crossed her path.  I see the photos on this site and can hear her giggle.  I missed Sunny before, now I will really miss her.
