

Danny is survived by his father, Martin De Leon; his mother and stepfather, Elva and Arturo Correa; his sister, Miriam; and his brother, Martin. His memory lives on through his beloved nephews, Gabriel, Noah, and Auriel. He was deeply loved by his aunts and uncles, and cherished by the many cousins and friends who were part of his life. Most especially, he is remembered with deep love by his girlfriend, Mercedes, who held a special place in his heart and stood faithfully by his side. He was also a proud and devoted dog dad to Rocky and Lou, his loyal companions.
After graduating from East View High School, Danny proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served with honor for four years. Following his military service, he pursued higher education at St. Edward’s University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Religious and Theological Studies. His passion for learning and reflection led him to recently be accepted into Texas Tech University’s Master’s program in Philosophy and Religious Studies.
Danny was known for his kindness, generosity, and infectious smile. His quick wit and lighthearted humor made everyone feel welcome. He had a warmth that drew people in and a gentle spirit that made them feel at home. A seeker at heart, Danny carried a deep curiosity about life and a soulful desire to understand the world around him.
He will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his joyful presence, his service to others, and the deep impact he had on all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
