Danny Isaac Barrera was born February 11, 1986 in Georgetown, Tx, the son of Felix and Esther Barrera. He passed from this life April 3, 2021 in Round Rock, Texas at the age of 35 and united with his Lord and Savior. Danny was a lifetime resident of Georgetown and a 2004 graduate of Georgetown High School. Danny loved watching his favorite tv shows and movies and was an avid sports enthusiast. In his youth, he loved to play basketball, softball and played baseball on Allstar teams. He was a big fan of fantasy football and basketball and loved watching his favorite teams; the Dallas Mavericks, Tennessee Titans and the Texas Rangers. Danny will forever be remembered for his great sense of humor and for having a genuinely kind heart and soul. His smile and laughter were contagious. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his dad, whom he called his best friend. We will miss him, but we know we will one day see him again. Danny was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Teresa and Julian Barrera and his maternal grandparents, Lola and Joe Garcia. He is survived by his parents, Felix and Esther Barrera; his brothers and sister in laws; Bobby Barrera and wife Maria, Rick Barrera and wife Mary Ann; nephews and nieces, Evan, Angelica, Isaiah and Miranda Danielle. Danny is also survived by a host of close cousins, aunts, uncles, and very special friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 11:30 to 1:45 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home.

Man, D-Bar… where do I start? The most beautiful thing about you was your smile and your fun loving soul! I know over the years we’ve lost touch, the back in 2005 and 2006... It was some of the best times ever hanging out with you my friend! I know you’re with the good Lord now, and every time I watch football moving forward, I will be saying Titan Up! For the short two years that we hung out strong, I considered you one of my closest friends and got to know you really well. My heart hurts for my own reasons, but also for your family and loved ones and friends that knew you! God gained another angel, please look after me brother! 🙏🏻

To my other son. You befriended this old lady when I came to work with you and nick. I will never forget your smile or your crazy banter with nick. You were like my own. I will miss you very much.

To the Barrera family,
Our deepest sympathy and condolences. We will miss Danny's beautiful smile and wonderful personality. He always made his way to say hello to us when ever we would run into each other. We know we will see Danny again in the Resurrection on the Day of the LORD. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD"
