I knew David primarily as a father. We would talk a lot about Adam. One fond memory is a 3 hour conversation we had and he was incredulous that Adam would call me since, as he said, "You are a lot stricter than I ever was." He kept asking, "Adam really calls you? He initiates the call?" About 2 or 3 months later, David called me to get some advice. In the middle of the call he chuckled and said, "I guess like son, like Father. I initated the call for advice. Hmmm, maybe Adam had the right idea." We both had a good laugh over that. We had a few conversations in whcih I knew that David ws both proud and concerned about his kids. That's a Father!!!!

David was a former neighbor. He was one of the most thoughtful, generous, humble, and intelligent people I have ever known. He would hire my children for small tasks when they were little. He would praise their efforts, no matter how small the job, and pay them handsomely. He was an incredible, wonderful person.

How thankful I am to have known David. We used to have church in his house. He was a wonderful surgeon who went with me to Mexico on a medical mission trip with TIME for Christ. There was a heart surgeon performing general surgery perfectly. He was always positive and gracious. A wonderful doctor, lawyer and friend. Tom Bohmfalk
