She was a faithful Christian, devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother. Debra believed in the power of prayer and was always willing to put her belief into action. Serving God was her first priority and her faith in the Lord was unwavering. Family was her life, and her affection was unconditional.
Some people dedicate their lives to their work, but she chose to dedicate hers to her family. Smart and witty, she could have been extremely successful in any field she chose; however, she humbly assumed the role of a wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was her career, and her hobby was strengthening their relationships with each other and with our Heavenly Father.
Her generosity, affection, and selflessness extended well beyond her immediate family. Debra was always ready to listen and support anyone in need of a mother figure. Her wise counsel and open heart lifted many spirits and gave guidance to many people throughout the years. We will forever have a deep gratitude to her for strengthening our relationships with each other and our spirituality.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael Reeves, her children, Jimmy (Patricia) Hord, Armando de Leon, Ilene Hutcheson, Louise (Rory) Butherus, Raul (Christine) de Leon Jr., Adrian de Leon, Michelle (Gabriel) Diaz, and Michael Reeves Jr., her brothers, Timothy (Judy) Martin and Delbert (Sue Ann) Spinks, 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Jo Martin, her brother, Jimmy Joe Spinks, two sisters, Loretta Cunningham and Florence Chrzan, and one grandson, Matthew House.
