Delores "Dee" Withrow

Dee was born in Waco, TX January 5, 1942 and graduated from Waco High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Louis Withrow. Dee & Lou met and married in Waco July 21, 1961 where Lou was serving in the United States Air Force.

Lou was a meteorologist in the Air Force and in civilian life. His military tenure afforded them many locations to call home. After their time at Connally AFB in Waco they were stationed in Anchorage, AK, Wallops Island, VA and Kansas City, MO prior to locating in Evansville, IN and then permanently settling in Austin, TX with their children.

Dee was a homemaker and mother who enjoyed time with Lou on their motorcycles, dancing, gambling and shopping.

Dee had one sister Joan Winfield of Waco, TX that passed away in 2014.

She is survived by her children, Dante F Withrow, Brett D Withrow & wife Jasmine, Terry D Withrow, Sherie D Loflin & husband Bill; grandchildren, Ashley Crawford & husband Damon both serving in the United States Air Force, Ethan Withrow, Elliot Withrow, Freddie Withrow, Eddie Withrow and Louie Withrow.

Dee is also survived by special friend and companion Fred Heimann & his daughter Shannon Cross.

Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday November 9, 2020 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown. Services to honor Dee will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
