Mrs. Dolores Garcia

Dolores Ontiveros Garcia, beloved wife, mother grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024, at the age of 76. She was surrounded by her loving husband Blas Garcia, two son Robert Garcia, and Oscar Garcia, and granddaughter, Gabby Garcia, in Round Rock, Texas.

Dolores was born on November 27, 1947, in Round Rock, to Eulalio and Guadalupe Ontiveros. Dolores met her husband, Blas Garcia, as a teenager, and they were married for 57 wonderful years until her passing.

Dolores worked for Round Rock ISD for over 30 years before her retirement in 2010. She was a dedicated mother to her four children Blas Jr., Robert, Oscar, and Dolores Garcia. In her free time she would spend her time at a bingo hall, dance hall or watching football and softball with her husband. She loved watching her grandchildren participate in baseball and softball. She traveled close and far to show her support for her grandchildren in doing what they loved.

Dolores was preceded in death by her two of her children, Blas Garcia Jr. and Dolores Garcia Apps, her parents Eulalio Ontiveros and Guadalupe Carlin Ontiveros, and both of her sisters Esther Ontiveros and Vera Orona.

She is survived by her husband Blas Garcia, her children Robert Garcia and Oscar Garcia, grandchildren Gabby Garcia, Nathan Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Christina Garcia, Cassandra Garcia, Aaron Garcia, and Karissa Garcia, and three great-granddaughters.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 4-8pm, with a Rosary at 6pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10am at St. William Catholic Church, 620 Round Rock West Dr, Round Rock, Texas. Burial will follow at Sam Bass Cemetery in Round Rock.
