Donald graduated from Carver High School and was raised a Baptist. He was a longtime member of Georgetown Cultural Citizens Memorial Association (GCCMA) where he loved to serve his community. He was employed by Brazos Masonry and Lee Masonry for over 25 years, and if you ever gave him a ride anywhere, he would be sure to point out every building he worked on.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Emzell Sr. and Lue Etta (Sims) Sedwick; his loving wife Wilma (Rose) Sedwick; son Ray Steven Rose; brother Emzell Sedwick Sr.; sister Sally Street.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, son Donald Jr. (Tami) Sedwick of Georgetown, Texas; daughter Tonja Shepard of Georgetown, Texas; son Corey Sedwick of Austin, Texas; daughter Sheri Scott (Andrew Rock) of Georgetown, Texas; son Ronald Anderson of Pflugerville, Texas; goddaughter Valisha Sutton of Riverview, Florida: numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and great grandchildren, along with other loving family members and friends.

He lived his life as if anyone he met for the first time, they were never a stranger. We sincerely appreciate your good deeds, prayers, visits, flowers, phone calls, personal messages, and all other acts of comfort through this difficult time.
