Edward Clarence Holt

Edward Clarence Holt, (91), passed away on August 30, 2022 in Georgetown Texas. Ed was born March 16, 1931, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada to the late Clarence and Harriet Holt. Ed was a 1950 graduate of Adams, MA High School. When the Korean War broke out, Ed enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in the Philippine Islands. After his discharge and graduation from the University of Massachusetts, Ed spent most of his career working as a Human Resources Director for various industries in Virginia.

Ed was married to the love of his life, the former Margaret Curtin of Cheshire, MA, for 59 years before her passing in 2017. In addition to his father, mother, and wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Doreen Holt St. Cyr Kozik and two nephews, Craig St. Cyr and Alan St. Cyr. Ed is survived by his daughter, Deborah Holt; his brother, Gordon (Marsha) Holt, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at Wellspring Methodist Church, 6200 Williams Dr., Georgetown, TX on Saturday, September 24th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions may be made to Trinity Hospice in Edward Holt's memory or to the charity of your choice.
