He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served his country during the Korean War earning multiple medals in the process. Following his stint in the Army he spent many years in the upholstery industry but his true passion and calling was that as a pastor at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Georgetown, Texas which he founded in 1977. To say that he loved his church and his flock would be an understatement. Constantly in prayer, he would always include all of his family, friends and acquaintances and, amazingly, he would always mention each of them by name.
