Emily “Michelle” Zamora passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2026, at age 52, following a heart attack. Born in Houston, Texas, to Barbara Nell and Paul Ray Hampton, she spent most of her life in Georgetown, Texas, where she lived with her family and created many cherished memories.
Michelle was truly one of a kind—funny, loving, caring, stubborn, outspoken, and unapologetically herself. She could drive you crazy, but her big heart and deep love made it impossible to stay mad at her for long. She loved music, movies, and animals, especially cats and dogs in need. Her compassion for animals was a beautiful reflection of the love she carried within her.
Above all, Michelle loved her family. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Zamora; her children, Ashley Carey, Christopher Hammett, Jessica Zamora, and PaulRay Zamora; her grandchildren, Brayden Fall, Orion Munoz, and Rae Lynn Jackson; and her sisters, Paula Miranda and Tracy Branton. As well as her dog Kitty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Ray Hampton and Barbara Nell Hampton; and her sisters, Jessica Hampton and Monica McCutchen.
Michelle will be remembered for her laughter, stories, stubbornness, compassion, and unforgettable personality. Though she left us far too soon, her love will live on in everyone she touched and in the memories she gave us.
Rest easy, Momma. We love you more than words can say. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
A visitation will be held at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628, on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
