Emma Sue Hartung

Emma Hartung, age 83, a four year resident of Georgetown, Texas and formerly of Austin, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. She was born on May 9, 1928 in Troy, Texas to parents Amos Moton Johnson and Marie Louise (Beavers) Johnson.

Emma will be remembered as someone who could give someone calm advice when needed. She loved to be around her family and especially her grandchildren and never missed any of their sporting events.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Hartung of Georgetown, Texas; son, Charles Camp and wife Becky of Leander, Texas; grandchildren, Danny Camp of Houston, Texas and Eric Camp of Round Rock, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Cody and Cooper Camp both of Houston, Texas and Trevor Camp of Round Rock, Texas.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 25, 2011 in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Temple, Texas.
