LaVelle was a dear friend in choir.  She dearly loved to sing....Keith Carter

I so remember LaVelle.  She was like a special Aunt to myself and my brother.  I remember one visit when I was all of eleven years of age.  She spoiled me each and every day, I had a special breakfast and rode her Pink scooter! 
When I lost my momma, she was such an angel.  Now she and Raymond are both our angels!
May her sweet memories bring you comfort.

I apologize for the lateness of this memory, I was ill.  My beloved friend and I shared so many precious things working together at Texas Municipal League. These memory stories are a tribute to LaVelle's beautiful spirit.  I will celebrate her birthday as I always did with some fun. I know LaVelle is renewed, laughing singing with God and all the Angels. Most likely she is leading the Angel Choir and her beloved husband Raymond is whittling on a piece of wood turning it into art.  Someday I will fly away and see my dear friend LaVelle.

LaVelle was a beautiful lady inside and out; she loved the Lord with all of her heart.  While she was still driving (92 years of age), she would drive to nursing homes where some of her friends resided and sing to them - they loved it!  After she quit driving, she would send cards that she made; also, she would call members of her Life Group that were not in church on any given Sunday.  LaVelle loved people and they loved her back.  She will be sorely missed.

I have wonderful memories of LaVelle from our days in VIP choir.  She would often chide us when we would/could not memorize the lyrics to our songs.  She never used sheet music when we performed!  LaVelle was a prayer warrior.  Whenever our family was going through severe health problems she would call to check on us and assure us that we were in her prayers.  We will miss her spunky spirit. 

I had the privilege of getting to know LaVelle through the Voices in Praise Choir.   We would often ride together to choir practice.   She was so sweet and always so thoughtful.  I loved her spunkiness!  I will greatly miss LaVelle.  She was a dear friend for many years. 

I used to take LaVelle to the doctor in Killeen. We would solve all the problems of the world on the trip over there and back, laugh and have a great time. We would always come back to Georgetown and have Chinese food for lunch. I'll  really miss that sweet smile and our trips.

LaVelle was a dear friend at VIP Choir. I have many fond memories of her down through the years.

We offer our sincere condolences for your loss.  For many years, LaVelle was a part of our FBCGT Choir family, where we enjoyed her humor and smile.   She will be missed.
