

Frances Elene McFarland passed away on Saturday, October 15, one day shy of her 93rd birthday. Frances was born on October 16, 1929 to Lonnie L. Keese and Mrytle Butler Keese in the small community of Union Hall, outside of Liberty Hill, Texas.
After graduating from Georgetown High School in 1946, she went to work at Southwestern University bookstore snack bar and was a waitress at a local cafe and a drugstore. Later in life, Frances worked as a payroll clerk for Burton Auto Supply in Weslaco, Texas where her husband was stationed as a Highway Patrolman.
Frances was predeceased by the love of her life W.C. (Dugan) McFarland, brothers Edward Lee Keese and Eugene Keese and is survived by brother Charles Rabik of Georgetown, daughter and son-in-law Judy and Ronnie Moore of Devine, Texas son and daughter-in-law Walt and Anna McFarland of Scurry, Texas. Grandchildren Lori and Dillion Shults of Kingsbury, Texas, Trey and Lorilee Moore of Devine, Texas, Randy and Liz McFarland of Dallas, Texas, Lisa and Donald Rohde of Grand Prairie, Texas, and 6 great grandchildren.
Frances will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, and that beautiful smile. She had a way of making everyone feel special. She was very much loved and will be missed terribly. Donations can be made to American Cancer Society, Parkinson Association, or the Liberty Hill Cemetery Association.
