George Osker Cagle Jr. quietly passed away on February 25, 2013 at the age of 83. He was born in San Saba, Texas on December 12, 1929 to George Osker Cagle Sr. and Mattie Leona Smith. George proudly served his country in the Army during the occupation of Japan and the Korean War. He was a hunting and boating enthusiast and a talented gun smith.
He is survived by a sister, Grace Cagle-Woods and a brother, Billie J Cagle. He also leaves behind three daughters, Diana Cagle, Barbara Cagle, and Leslie Harber; and a son, Glenn Cagle. George was a loving Grandfather to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren and a loving Uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by his family.
Graveside services will be held at three o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
