Georgia "Tootsie" Murray, 93, of Georgetown, passed away on January 14, 2019. She was born to George W. and Otha L. (Owen) Whitfield in Georgetown, Texas on July 14, 1925. She was married to Thomas David Murray on January 29, 1965, in Georgetown.
Tootsie was a devoted wife to Thomas until his passing in 2004, a loving mother figure to numerous nieces and nephews, a reliable friend and neighbor. She will be missed by friends and family alike.
A Visitation with the family will take place on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 6-8 pm, at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 N. IH 35, in Georgetown.
The funeral services will be held the following morning on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11 am with Pastor Anthony Van Noy officiating at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, with the burial immediately following at Berry Creek Cemetery.
