She loved being a homemaker. She wasn’t just known as "Grandma" to her own grandchildren; but, also to the many children for whom she cared. In later years she moved to Liberty Hill, Texas with her daughter were she loved relaxing, taking walks, playing her cards (that no one could touch unless you were handing them to her), and watching her great-grandchildren play.

Growing up and going to grandma's house was the best! Cows, chicken, rabbits and Little bit(dog) were always around. I use to love swinging on the swing set with my cousins, and enjoyed the biggest fig tree and walking through the rows of peach trees, enjoying all your flowers. My favorite was hoildays and the pies! Your chocolate and cherry pies were my favorite. As an adult, the best times were watching you love my kids, and them loving you back,I'm going to miss all the hugs and the I love yous.

In June 2000 we had a graduation party that we through at my parents house for Bruce (my son) and Crystal (Darlene daughter). Mom always love having her family there. I believe this was the first time they ever been there. My parents house was in Grainte Shoals. Gonna miss these moments.

My sweet Aunt Glory its hard to believe that she has passed. She was the most caring and loving person. I know she didn't have an easy life but she didn't let it stop helping others. She called my mom frequently. In 2019 we had a last minute gathering at my brothers' house. I am so glad we was able to get all the siblings together. Now we have 3 more angels in heaven watching over us all.

I always thought I was great at sneaking sweet treats when I was younger but little did I know that Grandma Lentz understood my sweet tooth. Every weekend visit she would buy the Little Debbie Oatmeal cookies and every night I was there, I'd sneak in the kitchen and grab at least 3 cookies. Surely I thought she would know so many were missing each time but she never asked or even said anything about it. I thought I was just that good at it but it wasn't until I was a teenager that I realized that she had known all that time and had left them there for me to enjoy. We both love our little debbie oatmeal cookies and I'm thankful to have those memories. I love you Grandma Lentz and thanks for all the sweets, rest in peace.
