Greg was a distinguished graduate of UCLA with a degree in business, was spontaneous, outgoing, and the life of the party around those he loved. After a long career in the tech industry, he spent the majority of his time loving, laughing, and living for his family; wife, Teressa Sherrill and children, Ashley Patricia Sherrill and Ethan Evan Sherrill.
He was a deacon in the First Cowboy Church of Burnet County where he was able to share his faith, laugh with the congregation, and spend time with other believers. A wild and crazy past created a beautiful future that enriched the lives of everyone around him and had an impact that is immeasurable, especially amongst his beautiful family. Although his last days weren’t what was envisioned, he understood that The Lord had a plan for his life even if it was not what was expected.
To honor Greg’s life, a memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 31 at First Cowboy Church of Burnet County, Highway 29 and County Road 252 in Bertram, Texas, with Pastor Glen Hickman officiating.
In lieu of flowers and the customary remembrances, the family suggests donations be made to: The Wesleyan at Scenic, 2001 Scenic Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
Arrangements under the direction of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, Georgetown, TX.
