Guy Alan Henderson

He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Vickie Michaels. He is also survived by his daughter and her husband, Kristian and Seth Myers, his son and his wife, Josh and Nicol Henderson, his stepdaughter, Jodi Harris and her husband, Jeremy Edwards, and his stepson and his wife, Christian and Tiffany Harris. He was the doting and much adored Pa Pa to Kathryn, Jonathan, Dalton, Jasper, Graysen, Samuel, Zoe, Molly, Ansley, Imogen, Haley, and Laney. Guy is also survived by his three sisters, Delores Barr, Lana Voges, and Janis Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Inez and Dalton Henderson.

Guy was a custom home builder and remodeling contractor throughout Travis, Hays, and Williamson County for over 40 years. He served in the US Navy before being honorably discharged to return home and care for his parents.

Guy was an avid fisherman, nature lover, and gardener. As a Christian, Guy found great joy, peace, and comfort through quiet moments of fellowship and prayer with his Lord, family, and friends. He will be remembered as a quiet, humble man with a big smile and twinkling, blue eyes. His loving kindness, caring ways, and generosity will be treasured by many. His death leaves holes that will be impossible to fill. We love you!

A memorial service in celebration of Guy’s life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cook Walden Davis Funeral Home located at 2900 Williams Dr. in Georgetown, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Guy’s name.
