Harry Taitague was a former marine who dedicated his life to taking care of his family. He was a kind, generous man, doting husband and loving father. He loved making jokes just to see people smile. He himself was always smiling and sincere in all of his actions. He loved to be able to help out anyone in need and put in great effort into helping others.
He loved fishing, working on cars and having BBQS. He loved music, playing on his guitar and singing with his wife. He absolutely adored his grandchildren. He will forever be missed by his family, friends and everyone that knew him.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, Jose and Dolores Bautista; sons, Derek Taitague, Roland Mark Pangelinan; brothers, Peter Taitague, John Leon Guerro; sisters, Yvonne Castro, Arlene Acfalle; brother-in-laws, Horace “Hoss” Herlihy, Mike Chargulaf, Joseph Naputi, Mike Duenas, and David Bautista; and sister-in-laws, Doring Leon Guerrero, Cathy Bautista, and Rosemary Bautista.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Evelyn B. Taitague; children, Johnny Pangelinan (Mary Lou), Marvin Pangelinan (Annicia), Gregory Pangelinan (Geraldine), Brent Pitts, Joycelyn Chan (Eddy), Grasya Taitague, Sheila Quinata (Jimmy), Jeena Taitague (Setha Thorng), and Kirk Taitague; grandchildren, April, Mayleen, Temberlin, Danel, Ashley, Marvin Jr., Jason, Marvin James, Marnisha, Joni Alan, Gregory Jr., Jared, Jaynie Carin, Salora Jean, Easton Maddox, Nathaniel, Clayton, Lauralyn, Kaylyann, Darin, Christian, Evan Jay, Evelyn, Lian Karter, and Jeth Bryant; siblings, Johnny Castro, Benny Acfalle, Shirley Naputi, Joann San Nicolas (Agapito), Karen Herlihy, Kent Taitague (Yvonne), and Brenda Taitague (Chargualaf); nieces and nephews, Tina, John John, Tony Ray, Glen, Clint, Donny, Yvonne, Zachary, Vanessa, Eric, Sherry, Vera, Eric, Brian, Janel, Jonathan, Marlenna, Jessica, Wayne, Joshua, Mila, Shawn, Tomas Joseph, Teresa, Jared, Thomas, Troy, Tyler, Trenton, Phillip, Bradley, Baryn, Bryce, Brandyce, Brayden, Ralph Michael, Miranda, and Gabriella; cousins and best friends, Roy Taitague and Fred Taitague. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 1pm – 4pm at Cook-Walden/Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628.
