Helen Jane (Peschka) Malmquist, joined our Lord Monday, December 30, 2019, at the age of 90. Born in Austin, Texas to the union of Alfred C. Peschka and Helen Brown Peschka, she was the youngest of four living children.
Helen and Clarence Oscar Malmquist had their marriage blessed on November 1, 1946. To this union five children were born: Shirley, Jeanie, John, Carol and Alan.
She was a life-long member of the Roman Catholic Church, loved gardening and was an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her parents, brothers, Alfred and John, sister Lucille, baby sister Nancy (1933).
She is survived by her five children, seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday January 6, 2020, at Cook Walden Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas between 6:00 and 7:00 pm. Immediately followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 100 Brazos Street in Granger, Texas.
