Henry Hernandez Gonzales

Henry married Inez Rojas of Bertram, Tx on May 31, 1969. They recently celebrated their 52nd year anniversary. He was a loving father to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren: His children are: Tracy Tackett and husband, Baylus Tackett, Charlie Gonzales, Valerie Gonzales and Josh Gonzales. Grandchildren: Ashley Tackett, Baylus Tackett and wife Sasha Tackett, Chico Tackett and wife Leah Tackett, Noe Ibarra, Cecilia Ibarra, Sophia Martinez, Liliana Martinez. Great grandchildren: Zoey Tackett and Weslie Tackett and one coming in December. His brothers and sisters include Mike Gonzales & wife Naomi, Daniel Gonzales & wife Diana, David Gonzales & wife Janie, Serviano Gonzales, Toni Roblez, Felipa Martinez, Becky Vasquez, Rachel Calderon & husband Tony, Sister-In-Law Tempra Gonzales. He also has many nieces and nephews.

Henry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed taking rides around town in his pride and joy, his El Camino. He loved being at car shows with his brothers and friends. He loved football especially his Tennessee Titans and loved hating on the Dallas Cowboys. Henry was a skilled mechanic and had a passion to mentor. His love of cars led him to start a Car Club known as Shades of Midnight. Later, he and other friends started a custom bike club known as Young Dreamers. His vision was to show young people respect, responsibility, how to give back to the community and how to be a positive influence to others. He didn’t want the young people in the club getting mixed up in the wrong crowd. He showed everyone how to take pride and joy whether it was your car or your bike. To sum it up, he was the true definition of a loving and caring man.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Rita Gonzales, brother Samuel Gonzales and brother Salomon Gonzales.

His pallbearers are Joshua Gonzales, Baylus Tackett, Chico Tackett, Noe Ibarra, Hugo Trejo, Gabriel Alvarado, Norman Gonzales, and Daniel Roblez.

A visitation for Henry will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a small service being held from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery, Georgetown, TX 78626.
